And how can you not vote for the candidate that will keep this father and daughter together by not sending our troops to senseless wars?

 Holy moly! Not everything has to be about furthering your political views. Sometimes it’s okay to just let things be.  Sigh.

War is a political tool. I don’t think it’s “okay to just let things be” if letting things be means not speaking out against the senselessness of tearing a family apart for an unnecessary war.

I’m a father of two daughters. This photograph is even more emotionally impactful to me for that reason. It would be irresponsible to not take the time to note that there is only one presidential candidate - as in, a person running for the office with the operational authority over all military “adventures” - who understands the destructive, corruptive, and wasteful nature of war and would reunite families as soon as he took office.

Perhaps you don’t mind that this father and daughter are being separated, possibly even for good. I, for one, object to these differing “political views” precisely because I’d rather keep this family together.
